GUACAMOLE

Everyone loves guac, and at 4Q we are no exception. It’s the perfect healthy fat to add to any meal or snack. Think eggs, tacos, sandwiches, salads, crudité — it truly goes with everything.

And while we may be biased, our guacamole is next level thanks to a surprise ingredient — distilled vinegar. The neutral flavor of the vinegar gives the guac a perfect acidic balance without having to use too much lime juice, which can be over-powering.

INGREDIENTS: serves 8

  • 2 ripe avocados, mashed

  • 1 beefsteak tomato, diced

  • 1/4 cup diced red onion

  • 1 tbsp diced jalapeño, without the veins or pits

  • 1 lime, juiced

  • 2 tsp distilled vinegar 

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • optional: cilantro, if it doesn’t taste like soap for you!

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Mix all ingredients together and enjoy!
